Last updated 26 September 2026
Havencast replaces the Bose SoundTouch service, which Bose switched off on 6 May 2026. A speaker works with Havencast if it used that service. Havencast does not check the model, so a speaker that is not named on this page is not rejected.
Tested
These models have been confirmed working on real hardware: pairing, presets, volume, playback and recovery after a power cut.

Not yet tested
These used the same Bose service and are expected to work. They have not been confirmed on hardware. If you have one, Havencast is worth trying, and reports are welcome.

Not supported
Havencast does not work with the Bose Music range. These products use the Bose Music app and a separate Bose service. That service was not switched off, and Havencast does not replace it.
- Home Speaker 300, Home Speaker 450, Home Speaker 500
- Portable Home Speaker
- Bose Smart Speaker products
- Bose Smart Soundbar products
Some of these are now sold under different names. A Home Speaker 500 is the same product as a Smart Speaker 500.
How to identify your speaker
SoundTouch: set up with the Bose SoundTouch app. The unit has six numbered preset buttons.
Bose Music: set up with the Bose Music app. The unit has no numbered preset buttons.
The app used to set the speaker up is the reliable test. Model names and appearance are not: several Bose products look similar and belong to different ranges.
If your speaker is not listed
A SoundTouch speaker that is not named above should still work. Email support@havencast.eu with the model name and this page will be updated.
