Pair the speaker
The app finds a SoundTouch speaker on your network and links it to your household. One speaker or several.
Bose switched off the SoundTouch service on 6 May 2026. Havencast replaces it. Presets, internet radio and podcasts keep working, and the six buttons on the speaker do what they did before.

Havencast runs on servers in Germany. The app talks to the speaker on your own network; the speaker talks to Havencast for presets and streams.

The six preset buttons, volume and playback work as they did. Internet radio, podcasts, music on your own network.
Presets are stored in your Havencast account, not on the speaker alone. Household members share the same speakers and presets.
Sign-up is not open yet. When it opens, the first 30 days will be free and no card will be needed to start. A subscription can be cancelled at any time, and access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
There is no per-speaker charge. Up to four people can share a household.
Servers and backups are at Hetzner in Germany. No advertising, no tracking, no profile of what you listen to.
Subscriptions are sold by Vatly, the merchant of record. Vatly collects VAT and issues the invoice. Havencast never receives card details.
The service is built and in testing. Sign-up will open on this page. In the meantime the supported-speaker list is worth checking, because not every Bose speaker used the SoundTouch service.
